This handcrafted designer lamp is a lighting piece with distinctive character. It combines functional illumination with a clean, timeless design, and the materials used make each piece unique.
At its core is an original Simson headlight lens, set into a custom-designed, 3D-printed housing with a clear lacquer finish. The result is a striking blend of vintage character and modern design.
The base is made of solid oak (approx. 35 × 10 × 2.6 cm), adding a warm, high-quality appearance through its natural grain. Rubber feet on the underside ensure stability and a pleasant tactile feel.
The flexible gooseneck (available in 40 cm or 50 cm) allows precise adjustment of the light direction. A stainless steel push-button with latching function serves as the switch and integrates subtly into the overall design.
A high-quality textile cable is used for the power supply (length 1.5 m; custom lengths available on request), with the color customizable to suit your preferences.
The lamp uses a mirrored-head E14 LED bulb, producing a warm, glare-free light. It is suitable both as functional desk lighting and for soft, indirect illumination. The bulb is replaceable—the lamp head can be easily unscrewed for this purpose.
The combination of reused components, durable materials, and energy-efficient LED technology results in a sustainable yet premium designer lamp.
